Schulte & Co. GmbH is an international Tier 1 supplier with approximately 1,000 employees. As a development and production supplier to the international automotive industry (specializing in connector assemblies, wiring harnesses, and fuse boxes), we develop and manufacture wiring harnesses and components at four locations in Hemer, the Czech Republic, and Tunisia.
To strengthen our quality management team, we are seeking a dedicated and qualified Quality Engineer (m/f/d) who, with analytical thinking and technical expertise, will actively help shape the quality of our products and processes.

TASKS THAT AWAIT YOU WITH US
- Carrying out processes and tasks in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Quality Management Manual (QMM)
- Technical support for international locations on complex quality issues
- Support in ensuring product quality and process reliability within the company
- Monitoring compliance with quality norms and defined quality standards
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the optimization of processes and products
- Handling customer complaints and warranty claims, as well as preparing and tracking 3D/8D reports
- Analysis of technical defects and malfunctions, as well as the suspension and release of suspect parts
- Assistance with sample testing and verification of compliance with quality requirements
- Assistance with risk analyses and the analysis of production processes from a quality assurance perspective
- Development of checklists, evaluation of quality metrics, and analysis of customer-specific quality requirements
- Support in planning and implementing quality assurance measures, as well as verifying corrective actions and continuous improvement measures
- Participation in supplier development and support for customer, system, and process audits
- Maintaining customer portals and assisting in the development and monitoring of action plans
- Contact person for quality-related issues at international locations
PREREQUISITES YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU
- Successful completion of technical vocational training, and ideally further training as a technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of testing procedures and quality methods, such as the 5 Whys
- Experience in working with measuring and testing equipment
- Experience in handling customer complaints and preparing 3D/8D reports
- Knowledge of quality standards and methods in the automotive industry (e.g., IATF, FMEA, APQP)
- Experience with customer portals and in creating test plans is a plus
- A structured and independent approach to work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments with internal stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of testing procedures, measuring and testing equipment, and the development and maintenance of test plans
- Experience in handling customer complaints, particularly 3D/8D reports
- Proficient use of CAQ systems, SPC, and statistical analysis methods
- Knowledge of quality methods such as 5-Why, FMEA, and APQP, as well as relevant norms and standards, e.g., IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3
- Experience with customer portals and quality-related documentation
- An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and cross-functional collaboration
- Enjoyment of sharing expertise and supporting internal training
- Good command of written and spoken English
