Schulte & Co. GmbH is an international Tier 1 supplier with around 1,000 employees. As a development and series supplier to the international automotive industry (with a focus on contact parts, power cable harnesses and fuse boxes), we develop and manufacture cable harnesses and components at four locations in Hemer, the Czech Republic and Tunisia. To lead our local purchasing team, we are looking for an experienced and committed Purchasing Team Leader (m/f/d) who will take responsibility for the further development of operational and strategic purchasing and act as an interface to internal departments and external partners.

TASKS THAT AWAIT YOU WITH US

Professional and disciplinary management of the local purchasing team
Project-related procurement in close coordination with the departments involved
Ensuring that the company is supplied with materials, services and capital goods on time
Further development of the purchasing strategy and ensuring efficient procurement processes
Processing complaints and maintaining and optimizing supplier relationships
Collaboration with other specialist departments (e.g. quality, AV, logistics) to ensure smooth processes
Initiation and implementation of cost optimization measures in purchasing
Responsibility for the creation and maintenance of purchasing-relevant master data in the ERP system
Participation in purchasing planning, budget monitoring and investment requirements

PREREQUISITES YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU

Completed commercial training with further training as IHK specialist for purchasing or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in industrial series and project purchasing, ideally with management responsibility
Sound knowledge in the areas of materials management, contract management and supplier management as well as the current Q standards in the automotive sector
Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office
Doer with strong communication skills, assertiveness and team orientation
Independent, structured way of working with an entrepreneurial mindset
Business fluent in German and English
